The more you see the more you save, so the longer the card duration the better the value. But remember, you only need to visit a few attractions before you start saving money.
To get an idea of how much you could save, browse our Helsinki attractions section and see how much each attraction would normally cost you to visit.

The 3-day Helsinki Card offers the best value for money. However, it is quite easy to save with all Helsinki cards as attractions in Helsinki often cost over €10 to enter.

There are three Helsinki Card options to choose from:

  • Helsinki Card (digital card): does not include public transport
  • Helsinki Card CITY (physical card): includes public transport in zones AB
  • Helsinki Card REGION (physical card): includes public transport in zones ABC
Attractions

The opening times and dates of all Helsinki Card attractions can be found on each attraction page on the website. We update this information yearly or when ever we receive new information from the attractions.

Please note that the most up-to-date information of the opening hours of a specific attraction is available on their own website.

The card includes over 30 top attractions and tours including Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, Amos Rex – and more.

The entry costs for all attractions vary and may be over € 10 for an adult ticket. To see how much you could save on normal entry costs, browse our Helsinki attractions section.

The majority of attractions included on the Helsinki Card are open all year round with just a few days of closure, usually around Christmas. Some museums may have a specific closing day, which in many cases is Monday. Some attractions and experiences are more seasonal, however, and are shut during the summer or winter months so we do advise you to check with the attractions before visiting to avoid disappointment.

To see the opening hours and dates for each attraction, browse our Helsinki attractions section or refer to your Helsinki card guidebook.

You can only visit each free attraction included on the Helsinki Card once, however discounted entry attractions can be visited several times.

The City Sightseeing Hop On-Hop Off sightseeing tour by bus is available for you during the whole validity period of your Helsinki Card.

Some attractions may offer free entry to visitors with disabilities, so the Helsinki Card might not be the most suitable for them as requirements vary from attraction to attraction. Please contact them directly for further information.

Important information: The Helsinki Card is not part of the EU Disability Card program. However, if you have bought a Helsinki Card and also hold an EU Disability Card, your adult assistant can get a free ticket for the Panorama Sightseeing Tour, the Hop On-Hop Off bus tour, the Beautiful Canal Cruise, and the City Highlights Cruise. Simply speak to the ticket sales staff at the starting point of each tour to arrange this. For other museums and attractions covered by the Helsinki Card, please contact each place directly to learn about their policy regarding assistant entrances and tickets.

Pets are not allowed on most sightseeing tours, inside museums or attractions, for specific information check each attraction page.
