Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions
The following terms & conditions regulate the contractual relationship between the Helsinki Card holder and Stromma Finland Oy Ab. By purchasing a Helsinki Card, the customer accepts these terms & conditions.
The Helsinki Card holder recognises that while visiting the attractions they are solely a contractual partner of the operator of the attraction in question.
To clarify, these terms & conditions only regulate the contractual relationship between Stromma Finland Oy Ab and the Helsinki Card holder with regard to the Helsinki Card.
The attractions included in the Helsinki Card are hereinafter referred to as “contractual partners” of Helsinki Card.
The Helsinki Card
The Helsinki Card is a physical or an electronic card that, against a one-time payment, entitles the holder to a single free admission to each attraction listed on the Helsinki Card website for the chosen duration.
Card holder
The card holder is the person to whom a digital card or a voucher for a physical card was issued. The card holder of a physical card must date the Helsinki Card with the date of first use, on the reverse side. The card is personal and non-transferable without the written permission of Helsinki Card.
Rights and duties of the card holder
The physical card must be shown to the card reader when boarding public transportation to activate the ticket. Penalty fare and a single fare are charged from anyone travelling without a valid ticket. The digital card does not include public transportation.
During the validity period of the Helsinki Card, the card holder may use the services as listed on the Helsinki Card website. The customer is not entitled to any reimbursement for unused or not consumed services or for attractions being closed during the validity period of their card. The cardholder is obliged to store the Helsinki Card carefully. In case of any complaint relating to the reservation, the customer must apply directly to Stromma Finland Oy Ab.
Liability
Stromma Finland Oy Ab shall not be liable for any deficiencies, damages, losses, or non-provision of services by individual contractual partners. Any complaints and claims the cardholder may have regarding the use of the services of a contractual partner can therefore only be raised against the relevant contractual partner of Stromma Finland Oy Ab. In such a case, the terms & conditions of the relevant contractual partner of Stromma Finland Oy Ab shall apply. Stromma Finland Oy Ab is not responsible for complaints that arise during the cardholder’s visit to the contractual partner.
Period of validity
The Helsinki Card is valid for the chosen duration, as agreed. This agreed-upon validity period will be printed on the Helsinki Card. The physical Helsinki Card must be redeemed by the end of April, 2025. The digital card should be used within one year of its purchase. If the contract between Helsinki Card and a contractual partner of the operator of an attraction is terminated, the Helsinki Card shall no longer be valid for that attraction.
Loss of the physical card
In case of loss of an unused physical Helsinki Card, Stromma Finland Oy Ab must be notified immediately. No replacements or refunds can be offered for lost or stolen cards. The Helsinki Card is not valid for return visits to any attraction.
